Julian Milian, CEO/Founder

Julian founded CalDoc, and the California Dental, Medical, and Nursing Academy brands in 2018 and brings extensive experience in compliance, curriculum development, and workforce training. He is a former U.S. Marine. In 2004, he built from scratch to growth a national allied health collegiate model representing 26 major flagship universities, which was later successfully acquired by a large private equity group. Julian is a proven brand developer and visionary entrepreneur dedicated to creating high-quality, career-focused, practice and work-based education programs.

Dennis Hasley - Chief Technical Office/Managing Partner

Mrs. Whitman is an honorary member of several corporate boards. She plays a crucial role in every company decision. 

Mark Kim - Business Development

Mr. Johnson is a professor of economic sciences and spent several years as a member of local and municipal governments. 

Rachel Goodbar - Client Success Executive Manager

Rachel Goodbar is an Onboarding Specialist and Customer Success Manager. She supports CalDoc educators and affiliate partners in guiding them on delivering high-quality medical and dental-assisting education. With a background spanning curriculum development, client relationship management, and hands-on coaching, Rachel brings a unique blend of technical expertise and human-centered support to every CalDoc Affiliate Academy Partner she works with.


Outside of work, Rachel is a proud mom to her toddler son and a dedicated caretaker to her four cats—along with the stray cats she feeds daily. She loves spending time at the beach, reading, working out, and finding small pockets of joy in everyday life.


Sean Wiggins -Schools Marketing Executive

Mr. Taylor has served as the Chair of the company since 2007 and is a lead director of several international groups and organizations. 

Amy Rising -State Board Board Compliance Officer

Amy Rising has been working in education for over 19 years, the past 2 have been in compliance, assisting Partner schools in obtaining state licensure and program approval, and assisting established schools in their licensure renewals and grant applications. Her work has been with institutions across the U.S. and assures CalDoc stays compliance with the BPPE. She is the former Academic Dean of the Branch Campus (Chicago) of Columbia College Hollywood.   Before she was Dean, she was department chair and faculty member. Amy is passionate about higher education and helping new school owners begin their journey as educators. Amy has a BFA from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and a Master of Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago. Amy loves traveling, spending time with family, theatre and film, and exercise of all sorts.


Elizabeth Granoff, Esquire - State Board Compliance Director

Elizabeth Granoff is a Compliance Officer with more than two and a
half years of experience supporting educational institutions across
the country in obtaining licensure and launching new programs. She assure CalDoc and aits affiliate partner campuses stay in compliance with the BPPE. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and IIT Chicago–Kent College of Law, Elizabeth brings a strong foundation of regulatory interpretation and problem-solving. She has helped guide schools through complex state requirements in the licensure process. In her spare time, Elizabeth spends a lot of time
with her family, enjoys traveling, is an exercise enthusiast, and
Swiftie!


Ray Carillo, RDAEF2 - Dental Board of California Compliance Executive

Ray has experience as a Dental assistant for 13 years, dental office supervisor for 8 years, Registered Orthodontic assistant for 9 years, and a RDAEF2 for 7 years. He has also contributed his time to the Dental Board of California in helping make changes to the RDA written exams. Ray is an expert in Dental Board of California certification courses compliance and curriculum development.

Nicole Milian - Social Media Manager

Nicole serves as the Social Media Manager for California Dental Assisting Academy Academy, where she transforms campus events, student success stories, and hands-on training experiences into engaging digital content that drives new student leads. With a strong focus on strategy and storytelling, she ensures our academy’s message reaches future dental assistants and inspires them to take the next step in their careers.

Outside of her marketing role, Nicole is a National Academy of Sports Medicine–certified personal trainer who brings the same energy and passion to fitness as she does to her creative work. When she’s not crafting content, you’ll find her exploring the Washington State outdoors and embracing an active lifestyle.

Nickolas Kizilov - Schools Marketing & Automations Manager

Nick is a U.S. Navy veteran and entrepreneur with a background in IT, marketing, and digital systems. In recent years, his main area of work has been supporting the growth of CalDoc, where he is involved in marketing processes, automation, and the development of digital infrastructure for Affiliate partner campuses. He focuses on practical solutions, system organization, and helping  implement technology to work more efficiently and scale sustainably for CalDoc and all California Dental Assisting Academies.

  • California Clinical Education Advisors - This 5-person team provides systems and guidance on clinical training standards, ensuring course content aligns with current best practices, patient safety protocols, and real-world clinical workflows.


  • Dental Curriculum Consultants - This team of 3 dental professionals advise on the structure and quality of dental education modules, helping shape evidence-based content that meets industry competencies and accreditation expectations.


  • Medical Curriculum Consultants - This 2 person team supports the development of medical education materials by ensuring scientific accuracy, instructional clarity, and alignment with modern healthcare guidelines.


  • Nursing Curriculum Consultants - This 3 person team guides the design of nursing-focused coursework, emphasizing patient care skills, clinical reasoning, and standards set by nursing education organizations.


  • Assessment & Accreditation Specialist - This 2 person team ensures all programs meet industry, state, and accrediting-body standards by developing clinical and online evaluation tools, monitoring compliance, and guiding continuous quality improvement across all curriculums.



  • Student Enrollment & Success Advisors - This 5 person team assists prospective and current students with program navigation, enrollment support, and academic success strategies to improve retention and satisfaction.
